LI: to create a persuasive advertisement.
For writing we were learning about persuasive text we had to do this
slide its called describing things the first slide we were doing desserts

inquiry
LI: to learn how to make simple machine
For inquiry we were learning about pulley we had to do the
definitions we had to make a pulley and test it out how to do it
is first you get two sticks and three people one person has to
be on the other stick and the two has to be the other stick
do loops around the stick we had to add three loops one
person has to pull the extra rope and try and bring the
two people on the stick then we had to name what has pulley.

and we follow the instructions to know what to draw then we had to

For writing we a professional speech judge come from Tamaki college to see who had the best poem and speech skills for the finals.
My favorite speech was Fau's because she was talking about mental health and w hat came happen if it doesn't stop. One thing I learnt was to talk about how they feel when they are feeling sad or depressed.
My favorite poem was Malasi's. His poem was about a kite and flying it night and day. He was confident, had good eye contact and pronounced the words properly.
After the poems and speeches the judge Stevenson marked the top 3 poems and speeches for year 1 to 3 then 4 to 6 and last 7 and 8.
Malas'i came 2nd for 1 to 3 in the poem finals and for the speech Fau came 1st for the year 5 and 6 speech.

LI: to water safety.
For kiwi sport we did swimming we were learning about rotations.We were in livvy`s group we had to go through a hula hoop we learnt it many ways like stream line reach rescue how to do reach rescue is you have needle and you need a partner to yell help! then you pulled them back up.For the hula hoop we had to do a stream line through the hula hoop then we learnt how to float on our with our hands up in the air yelling help!.

Cybersmart
LI: to apply the print design rules.
For Cyber-smart we did print design rules we had to fix a poster.
The area of print design rules are color text layout and compositions
the first one we had to fix was the color for this one there was different
colors like pink text box`s. The second slide we had to fix was text
there was different fonts, small text and big texts the third slide we
fix was layout there was like photos passing the line and white spaces.
The last one we fix was compositions there was a lot of white spaces
we had to add photos.

This week we had kiwi can our theme is called resilience and our topic is self discipline.
For our activity we had to find a group we did different challenges. The challenge we did
were hard we had to change our catch phrase the second challenge was five push ups five sit ups
five squats and fives burpes. The third challenge was finding the Maori names for the color`s
the last one was writing the abc`s backwards.
