L.I To explore standard forms of length.
Length is how long an object or item is. The standard forms for
measuring length is kilometres,meters, centimetres and millimetres.

The units for kilometeres,meters,centimetres and millimetres are
km,cm,m and mm.

Inquiry-Sound exsperment

LI: to observe the properties of sound.
Sound is created by vibrateing things.

Property of sound are that sound can go around a conner and it can go all dircetions and Sound dissipates as it travels.

There are three things for the property they are Observation,Evidence and Hypothesis. We did a experiements, so when you clap away from the meter the sound for the meter gets weaker.







Inquiry-light and sound



LI: to demonstrate prior knowledge.
For inquiry we were learning about light and sound. Our task we did was called connecting light and sound, so we had to grab images 20 images of light and sound. When we finshed grabing 20 images 
we had to wirte how we know it makes light or sound some things can make sound and light.

Writing- Adjective hunt

LI: to learn about adjectives.
Adjectives is a discribing word, it is a better version of saying noun. When you use a adjective there is no captials with adjective.

There are three adjectives the first one is absolute,comparative and superlative. Absolute means it is not qualified, Comparative means judged by estimating and superlative means a highest digree or quality.


A adjective helps you discribe your words better and they are three versions named superlative,absolute and comparative.




Reading



LI: To use and understand vocabulry.
For reading we were learning about key words and verbs. We had to read this book called dads snore we had to try and find key words in the book.

First we had to discribe what an snore sounded like then we had to put our key words in different columns called adjectives and verbs.

Then we had to write down how his snore moved around the house, then we had to put our key words into past,present and furture tense.

Then we had to write down a story, we had to write story about something that is loud every sentence has to have a verb in it to describe the movement of the sound.

LI: to learn noun, proper noun and pronouns.
Noun hunt is task we did, we had to find nouns,proper nouns and pronouns. We had to find nouns, proper nouns and pronouns to get points.

The meaning of noun is name of an object, meaning of proper noun is there only one version of it self and pro noun means it a group possessive.


First we had to try and find nouns,proper nouns and pronouns to get points then we had to put it in our total there waas three sheets the first one was our total our second sheet was our nouns the thirds
sheet was proper nouns the last sheet was pronouns.

LI: To use and understand vocabulary.
For reading we were learning about key words we had to read a book and find some key words to explane the meaning of it then we had to write down the animals maori name.

Then we had to write what, where, when,who,why and how, when we are done we had to sumerise the story with 25 words. The book we read was called good idea the book is about these animals
starving for water and food with a shaddy tree, the animals were called rhinoceros,antilope,zebra and warthog.
