LI: To pose questions, and locate the answers in the text.

In reading we were learning about QAR questions we did ten or more questons. There are diffrent questions they are right threre questions think and search questions, athur and you questions and on my own questions.

Right there questions means you can find in the text. Think and search questions are when it in the text but you can find it somewhere else. Authosr and you means the author ask you a questions you have to answer it. On my own questions when the answwer is not in the text and you might have an answer.

QAR Questions helps you increase your reading skills for on my own questions think and search questions author and you questions and on my own questions.

Maths

Fractions are the equal pieces of a whole object.

Decimals are less than one.

The bottom number of a fraction is called the denoiminator. The denimintor always be the same because if its not the same it gives a different fraction. The top number of a fraction is called the numerator. The numerator is the amount of pieces. If both of the numbers are the same, the fraction is a whole.

Improper fraction are unequal part, the reason why improper fractions are unequal because the numerator is bigger than the deniminator.

Proper fractions are equal parts of the whole because the numerator is less than the denoiminator.

Mixed number fractions are a whole and a part of a fraction. For example 5/3 is the same as 1 whole and 2/3.

Decimals are a short way to write fractions and mixed numbers with denominators that are powers of 10, like 100,1000,10000, etc. If a number has a decimal point, then the first digit to the right of the decimal point describes the number of tenths. For example, the decimal 0.9 is the same as the fraction 9/10 .

Fractions is a good way to learn how to divide things equally.

LI: to pose question and locate awnsers in the text.

There are four QAR question they are Right there questions, think & search question,Author & You and On my own questions.

Right there question is when you can spot it in the book and Think and search question conneting the right dots

Author & you questions Are not in the book and on my own questions are not in the book as well and you can ask anyone.

QAR is a strategy to help you know where to find the answer and how to answer the questons.

Maths

Volume is how much space inside a object. Capacity means how much liquid an object can hold. The standard forms of measuring is Millimetres (mm) and Liters (LT).

Estimation is trying to guess Something. Estimation is using your prior knowledge to guess what the number was.

To convert ml to L you can divide by 1000. To convert L to ml multiply by 1000.

Writing

LI: to learn about verbs

Verbs is a doing word like run,jump and punch.

There are three difrent types of verbs they are physical verbs, mental verbs and state of being verbs.

Physical verbs are action verbs. like jump,punch and run.

Mental verbs are thinking verbs like wish, daydream and imagine and
you use in your head.

State of being verb there is only one state of being word like will,am
and was.

Inquiry -light and sound

LI: to learn the vocabulary of light and sound.

In our inquiry session we were learning about vocabulary for light and sound. We had to connect the actual meaning to the word.

Then we did task called  find draw animate. We had to find words for the vocabulary task we did then we had to make a act,draw and ainmate. For act we had to use a word, for example vibration we had to vibrate in front of a camara. For draw we had to draw the word and ainmate the word.

Reading

LI- To summarize and locate keywords.

Summarizng is when you are retelling what happend in the story.

Adjective is a describing words like playing.

A verb is action word like run jump and skip.

A  noun is naming an oject like naming your pet dog.

Writing

Plural means having the s,s in the front of a word. The plural rules are es and ss.
There other ways to say es ss heres an exsample fish fish`s.

How to discribe a plural when you use this noun you always
have to use the ss and es.
