Writing/Metphor

Metaphors are a comparison of two things with a similar quality by saying one object is the other.

The three parts of a metaphor are the main object, the meaning and the comparison.

An example: Jamal was a pig at dinner. The main object is Jamal, the comparison is the pig and the meaning is that Jamal ate messily like a pig.

Metaphor help describe animals, how they act and feelings.
L.I: to descibe things by metaphor.

  1. Hi Dayton metaphors can also be quite funny but they do add alot of interest to your writing. I like how your images match the description of your metaphor. Do you have a favourite metaphor?
